Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Would love to host more couchsurfers, It's a bit tricky when I'm rarely around to do so! I think it's a great way to meet other open minded folk.
Music, Movies, and Books
Most music that isn't your standard chart rubbish, but each to their own. A few favorites being Queens of the Stone Age, Tom Waits, The Kinks, Jimi Hendrix. Love a good movie with a bit of depth and creativity. Anything by Wes Anderson, Cohen Brothers, Jim Jarmusch, Tarantino is usually worth a watch. Reading is something I don't do enough of, but love the classics- Steinbeck, Bukowski. Recently enjoyed Kon Tiki and Cloud Atlas.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Being a Snowmaker, working 2000m up a volcano at night with just stars to keep me company.. not to mention braving some feircly cold conditions.

I love learning from others, and I have so much to learn! I've taught many to surf.. on beaches.. not couches.
