Since I'm new to the area, I’m still discovering the best trails and hidden spots around here. When I’m not working or out on a hike, you can usually find me at home working on a puzzle with a good cup of coffee

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CouchSurfing is a fundamental part of our lives! My husband and I have met incredible, lifelong friends through this community. In fact, when we first visited Colorado in 2023, the local CS community was so incredibly welcoming that it played a huge part in making us feel "at home" and deciding to move here.

Now that we are locals, I want to give that love back! For me, CS has NEVER been about free beds—it's about the magic of sharing languages, cultures, and viewpoints. Since I can’t be backpacking right now, I want the travelers to come to me. Show me that CS love!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seasoned scuba diver—I've seen many sharks underwater, including a hammerhead from below once! Having lunch with seamen and workmen in the tiniest restaurant somewhere in Portugal. Finished a masters in science, moved abroad, fell in and out of love, and lived to tell the tale. Got a lice infestation working with kids in deep Mexico. Climbed up to 5000 masl to the Cocuy snowcap. Hitchhiked from Mexico City to Cancun. Successfully explained the "sex life" of plants to total strangers without them running away! 🌿

(Happening right now): Learning how to live in a 10,000-person town after spending my whole life in a big city.
