ABOUT ME

I'm presently studying psychology & cognitive science at a small liberal arts college outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. I love learning what motivates people to do what they do, so much so that I'm often distracted away from the books and school readings that I also greatly enjoy. To balance all of my studying, I attempt to work out several times a week (swimming and/or jogging and/or lifting weights), and I think having time for meditation or mindfulness (living in the present) each week is crucial to well-being. I love traveling and even anticipate graduation so I'll be able to travel more. That said, I understand the importance of having stable relationships with family, friends, and community to a certain extent, and I'm greatly that I've been able to have so many strong, empowering connections with so many of the people and places I've visited.

PHILOSOPHY

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This should involve lots of laughing, talking, smiling, hugging, and snuggling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A traveller today, a host tomorrow. As I'm still a student, I'm sadly only able to offer coffee and conversation for any interested visitors. That said, once I have my own place, I do hope to have an extra room exclusively for surfers!

None yet, though I've heard about great experiences from my friends who have hosted and travelled.
