About Me

I am an independent journalist and writer and a cognitive-hypnotic coach, very passionate about my work, and love to talk about it. My work has taken me to places where I have made friends despite my reserved, introverted nature. An avid reader, I have realised people are the best books. I soak up their stories and learn from their lives and mine.

I live in Vijayawada with my family - husband and two teens. We share a small apartment, which is why I can't yet open up my space for couchsurfing. I intend to do so in about a couple of years.

I live in a unique city - like a junction between the north and the south in India.
I am interested to meet people visiting this city - and take them around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to have a couchsurfing account a decade ago and used to host and travel and couchsurfed but that was many years ago, when I lived in Norway. I realised my old email address and the couchsurfing account - both have become dormant as life intruded and I shifted to India. So i created this new one as i intend to become a regular again..

I couchsurf to meet people, and mostly to see new places from the perspective of a resident/citizen and not as a tourist. That's been my idea underlining all my travel experiences - it's not easy always. People scare me the most and they also attract me the most. I try to stay open to beautiful possibilities and experiences and I have not lost much, only gained.
