About Me

Im back in CouchCurfing (2024)
Malaysia is open again.
I am no longer a traveler . I am a husband now, a father of 2 boys.
Now i am here to be the host .

About me:
Easygoing , talkative , friendly, very curious ,open minded,....dont know what else to say. I used to teach english to kids in school, volunteer for outreach program , etc.

I like meeting people ,exchanging views etc.
Very into language studies. I put my country to visit list according to what language I want to learn.
When i was a traveller . I normally don't go to touristy site(especially with tickets unless I can learn a lot from that site eg; terracotta warriors) and prefer discovering places where local people would go hang out,to eat, have picnic etc you know...the reality of the place, people (and cost effective:-P )

I'm from the malay ethnic group but my wife is chinese. The food culture in the house is quite diverse . Halal ONLY .
Chinese breakfast, Malay lunch , Pastas at night, Indian midnight snack.

I have studied martial arts as well , Silat Cekak , taichi and currently practicing Wing chun. BUT I'm not good at it yet. So, I can just share some basic moves if you're interested.

Be grateful , stop complaining .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was introduced by the backpackers that i met in my country. I am still new with all of this traveling and couchsurfing stuffs. Hope you guys can welcome me.

The way that i like to travel is to stay for a long time(3-6months or at least one month) in one country, long enough to pick up its language and experience local culture like wedding, food, rituals, beliefs, philosophy etc
So, to get local host is the best option especially those who share the same interest.

To my CS family here.
I don't care where you bring me to , in your city/town/village/country ...even your regular groceries store is new to me.
To me , people is the voice of place that you visit.

I used couchsurfing for the first time during my trip in taiwan and had a very great experience with my host. Very friendly, very kind, super awesome person.

I'll try my best for my CS family.
