About Me
Hello!
My name is Syauqi. Professionally I'm mainly a translator and interpreter, but I'm also a foodie, a traveller, a glossophile, and The Little Prince enthusiast! I like to eat and discover great foods wherever I go, I'd love to practice my languages (sometimes), and I collect The Little Prince in various languages! I would love to trade and/or buy The Little Prince in your languages, if you have one that is not on my collection yet :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to understand other people through their culture, languages, and foods. I believe, by getting to know with locals I can achieve this mission and I believe that Couchsurfing is one of the places to meet people who would be happy to share their life and their culture with me.
Interests
I can talk endlessly about language and writing systems. I also can talk a lot about foods and places I've been to! I have read The Little Prince in various languages, and I could talk about this on and on :)

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach my language(s) to you, if you want to hang out with me, I can show you to landmarks of Bandung and I can share the history of the landmarks, that other people might not know about (I was an intern in the Department of Cultural and Tourism Affairs, so I know a lot of history about Bandung landmarks).
I would be happy to learn other people's languages and culture to understand them better.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories and facts about Indonesia in general, my hometown Bandung, and basically everything about me. I also might be able to bring some foods/snacks/drinks or souvenirs to represent my culture.
