Overview
About Me
I'm a very open minded person and I love to learn. I graduated high school in June 2014 and I'm considering furthering my education next fall. But first I would like to travel a bit more. I plan to pursue a career as a travel writer or a pastry chef. Maybe even both! My friends tell me I'm pretty goofy although I can be a bit shy or quite at times. I love to listen to someone share their stories and adventures!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like I said before, I'd like to travel more before going to back to school. But I would like to travel socially and meet plenty of new people. I also think that staying with someone that lives in the area is a great way to see the places I travel for what they really are. I rather have a true, raw experience then stay in a hotel and stay in an area that's out on for tourists. My friends and I are planning a roads trip through part of the states and we agree that this would be a great way to learn and have a positive experience.
Interests
I love being in the fresh air. Anything in the woods such as camping, hiking and exploring. I've been learning to surf over this last year and I have completely fallen in love with it. I enjoy reading, writing, painting, creating arty stuff, making jewelry and baking.n

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't have a favourite anything, although I highly recommend The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was a little girl a big section of the forest by my house was being destroyed to make way for a new highway. On my own, I made a big sign, marched up to the construction site and protested the project all afternoon. Although it happened years ago, I'm still very proud of myself for taking action in trying to protect something I love. Especially at such a young age.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make hemp jewelry and I can share with you my experiences. I can't say what you can learn from me, we all learn from things differently, but I hope it is positive and life changing in some way. I hope to learn as much as I can from you, I hope that you can share some great stories and perspective.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Friendly, positive company and conversation. I will always clean up after myself and respect your area. I like baking, so I can make you some sweet treats if you have supplies!
Countries I’ve Lived In
Canada, United States
