Hello! I am 21, and have lived in LA since I was 18. I grew up in Indiana, and am a very independent, progressive-minded person. I’m super laid back, clean, and a lot of people would probably describe me as a bit awkward but sociable at the same time. I love beer & hiking! I’m about to move to Northern California to live near Humboldt State University, where I plan to finish my bachelor’s degree in environmental science/education.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing because I don’t have any major commitments until my fall semester begins, so I want to get a cool new experience in before I get back to work & class.

My favorite movie is The Killing of a Sacred Deer, or the Goldfinch. TV show would be Shameless or Dexter. Lolita is my favorite book!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Just finished a beautiful 4-day hike in the Himalayas, after volunteering on a farm in India, and at a school in Nepal. All great experiences!
What I Can Share With Hosts
Some recipes from places I recently visited in India (I am a super average cook though), can help you with gardening or composting — no problem, and can teach anyone of any age how to swim well! I also want to learn to play poker, so if you enjoy playing, or want to learn too, let’s do it!
