ABOUT ME

Hey guys ! We're two former french students celebrating a trip around the world. Two young men with all our teeth, no disease, and a "rather" normal brain (yeah, who can really say he is fully normal after all, yourself you're smirking while reading this stupid joke, proof is you're like us... rather normal !)...

Let's make it simple, the one with "long" hair is Sylvain, the one with short hair is Guillaume, nice to meet you !

Our skills ? Marketing, management, and having a lot of fun traveling and meeting new friends !

A lot of people ask us "why are we making this trip around the world ?", and there is only one good answer : Why not ? Too many things to see, too many people to meet, too many experiences to go through and cultures to discover and explore.

Here we are, curious, and definitely eager to share our positive way of thinking.

PHILOSOPHY

Augustin of Hippo once said : "The world is a book, those who do not travel read only one page." We are two great readers, what about you ?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually, this is our first experience in the little but unlimited world of couchsurfing ! And as we are traveling, we told each other, why not discovering new ways of traveling ? So here we are, willing to experience it as guests, and once we come back to France, why not offering the same chance to others ? Wouldn't it be fair ?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For now, none but we will very surely update it as soon as the first experience comes up, and then the second one, the third one, the... ok ok I stop, you've got the thing.

As for similar experiences, we both had some experiences in our past to live in foreigners families, so we know that the priority as a guest is to adapt to the local way of life, and this is what makes it so unique actually.

Interests

Could be a too long list... especially as, if you've read all the previous, we're two ! But actually, best way to sum it up is to say we're curious, very curious because of the way we've grown up...

I think there are very few subjects that interest none of us two ! But to be more specific, we love to read, to go to the cinema, to listen stories or to tell some, to cook (well, we try to !), to eat, to hang out in clubs or simply staying at home with some very light music, enjoying the discussions...

Music, Movies, and Books

A very wide range of music actually, for us music has to match a very nowly mood, so it can be english rock, some well written rap, or some dancing music or very cultural sounds and melodies. Again, limiting our tastes would be limiting the discovery and the exchanges, don't you think ?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For now, our best traveling experience would be snorkeling in Nusa Lembongan (Indonesia, near Bali). The place we've been was just... like a paradise.

Floating, alone because no tourists around, we were the two only human beings in that water, swimming with mantas and enjoying a corral bay... full of colors, of tranquility, nothing to disturb that peace...

Most certainly our best experience for now, pure and simple peace, a all new meeting with the nature.

OF course we've got plenny other stories to tell, but why would you read it now instead of listening to us face to face ?

Teach, Learn, Share

What we can give, teach and share ? Experiences, culture, our positive way of thinking, things about communication, marketing, way to feel more comfy while talking in public, or selling yourself better to find a job for example !

What we want to receive and learn ? Again, experiences, culture, different way of thinking, new languages, some cooking skill, knowing how to dance (for Guillaume especially!) and thousands other things, I'm sure you've got a lot to teach us.
