Overview
About Me
I'm a climate researcher, working on the description of cloud physics and dynamics in models. I want to work later on climate change adaptation strategies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hosted occasionally in Atlanta and surfed some in Canada and Germany. I love to travel, and it's nice to build up a network of people all over the place. At the moment, I'm in transition so not hosting anyone.
Interests
I love sports and being outside - I run, swim, and bike a lot and do long distance races and triathlons. I also like to camp and hike. I love language learning, linguistics, and generally how people communicate. I am more musical than artistic - I play classical piano and have had some practice with violin, clarinet, guitar, and drums.

Music, Movies, and Books

Radiohead, Ibrahim Maalouf, Kendrick Lamar, Miles Davis, Neil Young, Florence + The Machine
I also enjoy classical music and opera. A lot of what I read is non-fiction, but poetry is great - I especially like Seamus Heaney and Jorge Borges. Their Eyes Were Watching God is my favorite novel.
