Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Cause I so much like this idea of on the one hand opening your life and house to people and on the other having the chance to experience peoples kindness. There are many out there that think it might be crazy dangerous to trust foreigners. But I think it should be the other way round: Trusting and expecting good should be our natural or at least habitual way of encountering new people! But if you never go out there and give people the chance to be nice, you never experience that they actually are... So couchsurfing is somehow about showing me and the people and the world out there that mankind can actually be nice! :-) Big words... But maybe it´s just my inveterate naivety and I was up to now just lucky, meeting wonderful people and never having disenchanting experiences... ;-)

My Interests
Music - making, rather than listening, beeing outside for outdoor activities (jogging/ hiking/ ultimate frisbee/ acrobatics/ juggling...) or just to hang out barbecuing or having bonfire, any kind of do-it-yourself-activity (picking fruits somewhere and making jam, repairing or recycling stuff, handcrafts, cutting people´s hair,...), travelling, hitchhiking, having good conversations, meeting people... - anyway: everything is fun with the right people :-)
