ABOUT ME

I am a travel nurse. I go to different locations throughout the United States for 3 months at a time, then I usually have the option to stay longer or move on from there. I only work 3, 12 hour shifts a week so I have lots of time to explore the new places I am living in. It is the perfect job because I get paid to travel, which is what I really love!

Interests

I love summers, flip flops, boating, laughing, camping, the outdoors, walking barefoot, that first beautiful spring day when no matter what happens you could never be in a bad mood, guys that play the guitar, anyone that can sing (Im so jealous), concerts, country music and small town bars, driving with the windows down, being spontaneous, sleeping with my windows open, scary movies, St. Patrick's Day, Mexican food, sports (of any kind pretty much, playing and watching), football season-i love football and the weather that time of year...any game, any time (bonfires, hooded sweatshirts, all day Sundays on the couch, beer), hanging out with friends, drinking and partying, The Fighting Illini, cuddling up under my blanket on a cold night, beer and pizza, Da Bears, traveling, beautiful scenery, jalapenos and BDubs sauces, organization and cleaning when I am in the mood, violet tulips, surprises, palm trees, skiing, and I am sure the list goes on...

Music, Movies, and Books

Love country music, especially Texas country...which is totally different from the main stream country music.

I always love reading books once I start them, but for the most part the extent of my reading happens on the internet...whatever I decide to surf that day.

It is probably easier to say the kind of movies I DONT like...and that is what I call "stupid funny" movies or "stupid funny" tv shows. Examples are South Park, King of the Hill, Zoolander...you get the point. I despise these types.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like I have had many amazing experiences, but the best times are probably moments with friends and family where I feel so fortunate to be surrounded by the most wonderful people.
