About Me

** PLEASE, TAKE INTO ACCOUNT: currently I'm not in Tbilisi, so I won't be able to host or hang out with you.

"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined."

Hi,
I'm from Georgia, but not from the United States :) My Georgia is a very mountainous country between the Black and Caspian Seas. I would say it's a country of legends (I can tell you some, if we meet:)
And the most essential thing you should know about Georgia is that 20% of it is occupied by Russia.. So if we meet, please, consider that Georgia is not a part of Russia and we have our own official language - Georgian.!

Yeah, as for me, Last year, I was volunteering in Latvia, doing my EVS (European Voluntary Service) in the kindergarten with little kids and I can say undoubtedly that it was one of the greatest experience of my life.
And so, Latvia became my favourite "home" :)

Every moment is very important for me, so I'm trying to catch the moments, seize the days, and do my best in order to have the best memories. Thus, "Carpe Diem" is a life motto for me.
I travel as much as I can, and I'm always glad to meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've just started travelling to other countries, before I was travelling in my home country (Georgia) and dreaming about other countries.. I really would like to understand more about other peoples and introduce my culture as well.. for this, I think the best way is to communicate and share a nice time with locals, travellers, people like me..
"If you are going to try, go all the way; otherwise don't even start", right? - That's what I'm doing and I hope you understand me.

hmm.. movies: I watch mainly dramas, melodramas and comedies. I have lots of favourite movies, but I'll try to figure out some, e.g: "Into the Wild", "Captain Fantastic", "The Shawshank Redemption", "The curious case of Benjamin Button",
"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", "To Walk Invisible", "Cafe de Flore", "The Butterfly Effect (1,2,3)", "The Secret Scripture", "Dear Frankie", "Twice Born", "The Tree of Life", "The Words", "Der Geilste Tag", "Changeling", "the Perfect Sense" and so on..
As for my favorite books, they are: "The Little Prince", "Brothers of Karamazov", "Mrs. Dalloway", "The Waves", "The Sound and the Fury", "When I lay Dying", "Waiting For Godot", Kafka on the Shore", "To the Lighthouse", "Blindness", "The Unbearable Lightness of Being", "Flowers for Algernon", "Walden", "Der Steppenwolf", "The Orange Girl", etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That was participating in Latvian Song and Dance Festival with 35 000 or more people :) yes, exactly. In spite of having rehearsals for almost twelve hours continually, before that grand concert, everything was so great.. then finally standing and singing on such a big stage with so much people, was really the most amazing event in my life.
I'll never forget the emotions I got in those days.!! 💫💙

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the Georgian (my mother-tongue) language, English, some Latvian or Spanish :) share ideas about English (and not only English) literature, exchange my experiences, play on the piano, make something creative by hands, cook Georgian dishes..
I would learn foreign languages, as much as I can, cook traditional dishes of other countries, how to take better pictures.. and I would learn your methods, how to fix things in life, if my methods don't work :)
Yeah, I would learn more about life from other people's experiences..
I would share my experiences and challenges (as travelling as vital) would share my culture and traditions, my knowledge, my interests, friendship, and my house. : )

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you how to write in Georgian, as we have a totally different alphabet, can teach you some simple words as well.. : ) would share my adventures and stories from my travellings, would introduce my culture, cuisine and traditions, my knowledge, interests, ideas about literature, about life; friendship, and beautiful sights of your country. : )
