ABOUT ME
I'm a traveling fool. Once the bug gets in you it's hard to settle down. I have plans, but you know when you travel plans often go to the wind and that's what I love about it so much. The spontaneity, the open road, the sunsets, howling w/ my dog and the coyotes at the moon, and the fun and danger of the unknown. I waitressed at a punk rock diner in Cambridge for years, took some time off to travel the country just me and my 40 lb dog Sid, and we drove to the California Pacific coast and all the way back to Massachusetts. Its so sad for me to edit this profile to say he has passed away last month 5/15/21 at 14 years old. He was my traveling companion and truly the light of my life. He was like having a magical sidekick and our connection was very powerful. I do have a new dog She-ra who is 14 months old. She is around 60 lbs and is a very sweet girl who LOVES men! She still does some "puppy shit" that we are working on but she is not aggressive at all. Due to the pandemic we have not had the pleasure or traveling together but I plan on breaking the ice this summer 2021, as I am now fully vaccinated for COVID19 and ready to embrace living life again!
All I know is that I've only met gracious, wise, and well educated people through this site that have impacted my life more than they know. If you host me you won't regret it I do my best to keep out of your way or have a good time, whatever your goal is. I'm a professional house guest; I was a foster child growing up. CS is really what makes traveling so invigorating for me. I'm happy after all this time of surfing I can also host surfers in my hometown! We all make it happen and it's truly the last bastion of good will these days. Thank you to all!
PHILOSOPHY
Your word is everything. I live life with integrity, loyalty, and respect. You need to take chances to grow as a person. Fear is a curse.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I had been traveling in 2012, but then I came to a part of the country that I didn't know too many people so i used couch surfers and also met people along the way to stay with, as well as sleep in my car and camp. Couchsurfing was such an integral part of my trip i actually wish i did it earlier on my journey! I always try to do something for my host, like fold laundry, sweep, dishes, make my Sangria, or bake cupcakes- since that's about all the cooking you can get out of me! I truly appreciate and value the CS experience and community. I've surfed around the country and now I can host surfers in Boston.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first Rainbow Gathering was one of the most amazing weeks of my life. I plan on attending the annual Rainbow Gathering of Living Light every year forever!
Surprising my boyfriend with a skydiving trip on our anniversary is one of my fondest memories, and an exhilarating experience. New Orleans, Louisiana is my favorite city.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy others who have gratitude and see the bigger picture in life. I'm kindred with other travelers who refuse to grow up, like ganja, and experience personal freedom.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I make great sangria, laughs and crazy stories, I cook a good breakfast
