Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To stand up and live. To trully except that there is no trail and to find the strength within to forge my journey.
ABOUT ME
I was the kid who tried to use plastic bags as parachutes. Many times over. I think it knocked senseless the part of my brain that would generally inhibit me not to do things which would be considered a little too eccentric.
The following is what I had on my profile 6 or so years ago.
"I've recently joined the army. I ship for basic training the end of February. It's a huge thing for me. While admittedly apprehensive, I've more confident then ever that I've truly found my niche in life."
I'm now in the process of transitioning out of the Army. Loved 3/4 of it but alas out was not my niche. Now if only to figure out what is.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is going to have some new meaning at every turn. I figure if I stick to the basics and keep an open mind things will turn out just fine. There is beauty in everything if I can find in myself to see it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My husband and I are mostly looking to participate in events and possibly meet up with travelers and locals when we travel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Met up with some fellow couch surfers in Seoul. Looking forward to experiencing more.
Interests
Once a week at least I sing karaoke. Camping and the outdoors call to me in a way that is refreshing and fulfilling. It takes away the voids that the rest of life created. One day I would absolutely love to go backpacking long distance with nothing but camping supplies and my own two feet. (and my hands) (probably my torso to) (ah lets include my head)(I suppose I might need my legs and arms too)

Music, Movies, and Books
So about movies...If you showed me a picture of a random well known actor or actress I wouldn't be able to name him or her.
Listen to most music. I like the lighter stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went bungee jumping from the tallest spot in South Korea. I literally held my nose as if I was diving into water and did the running man all the way down.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could probably teach someone who wants to learn how to draw a face. (not exactly an expert but, hey, I could try)
What I Can Share with Hosts
A well rounded knowledge of beer (with what I think is good taste)
I sing
I've been told that I make people smile and that I'm easy to talk to.
Countries I’ve Visited
South Korea
Countries I’ve Lived In
South Korea, United States
