Movies: big movie fan. If need to pick one, I probably go Before Midnight series ..
Books: was really into Sci-fiction but more interested in history and non-fiction books in recent years. fav writers would still be Peter Hessler, Somerset Maugham, and Ted Chiang

I suppose I would be a terrible Chinese teacher if you want to learn some simply Chinese from me. But I would like to share my travel experience or China travel tips. Especially after travel many times, I think i have had some tips how to find cheaper flight/accommodation etc.
