About Me

Yo, I'm Tantorn, but everyone just calls me Tyler. Right now, I'm diving into international relations as a university student. Days are for grinding on my studies, but when night falls, you'll catch me out, soaking up the city's vibes or tearing it up on the dance floor. I've got a thing for picking up new languages and jet-setting to new spots around the globe. Let's vibe and swap stories!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing to broaden my horizons and connect globally with people from all walks of life. I'm eager to explore diverse cultures, exchange stories, and create unique experiences beyond the typical tourist path. Joining Couchsurfing allows me to immerse myself in local communities and better understand the places I visit.
I look forward to sharing adventures and forging meaningful connections along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not particularly fond of movies but enjoy exploring music and captivating reads. I groove to a blend of Western and KPop beats when it comes to tunes. On the Western front, you'll catch me vibing to The Weeknd, Gunna, Wiz Khalifa, 21 Savage, Doja Cat, and Chris Brown. As for KPop, I'm all in for Illit, BLACKPINK, New Jeans, BTS, TXT, and Jay Park. And when it's time to feed my mind, I delve into the intriguing world of literature, with one of my favourite reads being 'The 48 Laws of Power' by Robert Greene.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year, I participated in a two-week exchange program in Hong Kong, where I had the incredible opportunity to connect with international students and locals. This experience allowed me to broaden my perspective and provided valuable insights into my career path. From immersing myself in workshops to exploring the vibrant city, I embraced every moment, balancing academic pursuits with memorable adventures. It was a journey filled with learning, growth, and unforgettable memories.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not fond of traditional teaching or learning methods; instead, I prefer to share my unique perspective on travel and life as a young foreigner, shaped by my experiences of being raised overseas.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm excited to share my Thai culture with you while incorporating my cosmopolitan perspective. Let's cook Thai food or explore local cuisine together. I'm happy to help with chores and housework and keen on engaging in deep conversations.
