About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to make the world play more

ABOUT ME

i am a passionate playworker who believes all children should be outside getting filthy and taking lots of risks.
i love my family and friends, and being around great people with courageous and innovative ideas. i believe in doing things that make you happy, and never complying to a routine. recently began swimming in the sea (minus wetsuit) nothing better than the satisfaction of wild swimming a mile.
looking forward to embracing the CS community.

PHILOSOPHY

when it may seem as though it is the end of the world, in fact it can often be the beginning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i am always on offer to provide guided days about devon's hidden gems. i have done a lot of organizing events on a variety of scales, so can help anyone planning something.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

had a lovely time couch surfing around sweden and denmark, met really lovely people. recomend it to all!

Interests

i like all things outdoors, particularly climbing and swimming, walking is good too.
i love to dance in classes and nightclubs, i would like to see mroe dancing in everyday life generally.
i like people and especially meeting new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

lord of the rings, all the die hard films, radio 4 especially comedy half hour, sarah walters books.
i like almost all music, as long as i can dance to it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

lived by foz du iguacu for 6 weeks, the widest water falls in the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

as a sociologist i enjoy a good debate about patterns of behaviour and social trends. as a playworker i like to instigate games and activities. as a dyspraxic i hold a vast array of useless half facts, i can tell you the gists of interesting stuff but often forget the finer details. i am also a fire dancer, i can teach people how to do this. i like cooking, and i know many non-offensive children friendly jokes. i would love to know more foody things, experiences of eco friendly living, and how to bend things with your mind ;)
