ABOUT ME

I'm independent, curious, and love learning about other people & other cultures - so much so that I've found a job where I get paid to do it!

I get a lot from being outdoors and being fit...the two often go together in my life. I also appreciate the aesthetics of life...fine views, modern art, live music and real ale.

I'm pretty laid back - I like to understand things before jumping in (unless I'm racing somewhere...then I sometimes make hasty decisions and my ankle immediately reminds me of the peril I've made)

Movies = anything Coen Brothers, World cinema, films that are preferably funny but definitely with a good story (definitely not action hero stuff!)
Music = practically anything except R&B & manufactured pop - most popular & classical genres
Books = personal development/NLP, Chekhov's short stories (and others' too), the occasional novel (which is descriptively written and holds an interesting story)

Helping people decide what to do for themselves. I love the feeling their success brings :-) - I love my job for that...and for the opportunity it gives me to take extended time out ...
I started travelling independently at a later-than-average age and am getting about in stints
