Natural blonde, gypsy soul with a passport full of stories, a part-time professional mermaid (yes, really), and a full-time seeker of beautiful places and even better conversations; colored pencil artist with collectors around the world, former college professor and dance instructor because brains and hips don't lie. I was born and raised in Belarus and moved to the States in 2003, bounced between New Jersey and California, then landed in Austin, Texas because why not try all three time zones? I usually travel with my 7-pound Maltipoo co-pilot Puppy (yes, that’s his name).
To me, Couchsurfing isn’t just a place to crash- it’s how I get to know the real side of a country. I’m endlessly curious about how people live, what they eat, how they decorate their homes in different cultures.
I’m working while I travel and I need solo time during the day to get things done, wander at my own pace, and have existential crises in peace. But by evening, I’m all yours- I love connecting over a slow dinner, a walk, or a couch chat that spirals into unexpected laughs or life stories.
A few notes/quirks about me
-I have a disability and some physical limitations, so no strenuous activities or anything that belongs in an action movie- yes to gentle strolls and snack breaks.
-I am allergic to synthetic fragrances so that means I won’t be able to stay with you if you can’t live without plug in air fresheners, scented candles etc.
-I’m gluten-free (think bread, pasta, pizza) and sugar-free, and don’t drink alcohol not because I’m difficult but because my body throws tantrums otherwise. If you want to eat/cook together, I’m down as long as you are respectful of my dietary choice and we can laugh when we burn the pan.

Life threw me a curveball, I had to cancel, I communicated… and they still weren’t happy. I get it. But I hope you’ll read the rest and trust your gut.
