Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I've met a bunch of people while traveling, some who have become close friends. I've had those friends stay with me when they've come to New York and was able to show them around and give them a genuine insight into American culture. Id like to meet people from all over the world, and this app seems like it brings people with similar ideals together

Music: Pearl Jam, Jeff Buckley, Kings of Convenience, David Bowie, Punch Brothers, Shakey Graves, Alabama Shakes, Grizzly Bear, Neil Finn, a lot of indie type bands, alternative rock, almost anything really. There's really too many things to list.
Teach, Learn, Share
Being a woodworker I can tell you just about anything you want to know regarding that field. I try to stay current on a bunch of different subjects. But can teach you a lot about wood, trees, nature, and fishing. I'm always eager to learn something new; be it a language, cooking, baking, skill, sport, or facts about a certain place, person, or thing.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I'm quite handy, so anything in your home or yard that needs to be fixed, I can probably remedy it for you. I'm a decent cook, if you're willing to take a risk. Of course I would clean and be of as much assistance as possible and even run errands!
