CURRENT MISSION Study Abraod in Fribourg, Switzerland for a year. Traveling around Europe ABOUT ME I'm a 22 year old student from New York State ( Port Jervis, 1h30 mins north of NYC ) and currently studying abroad in Switzerland on a scholarship. I love history and books. Middle Ages, Renaissance, and 18th Century. I love seeing the locations of places where history had taken place as well as archeology and anthropology. I have a great love for the french speaking world and Europe in general and it's literature. Most of the time, I am very shy but after time open up. I'm a really bad cook but have been slowly learning the last few months. ;) I do not drink very often ( only with friends at home ) and do not smoke. Je parle français, mais il n'est pas ma langue maternelle. En français, je peux vous parler du sujet de la littérature française ( Moyen Age, 16e - 20e siècles ) Aussi, le monde francophone car j'ai habité au Québec et en Suisse. PHILOSOPHY Live life to the fullest. Do not dream, make realities. I do not like stereotypes and hope that the world can shed them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Well I just joined! I do not have my own home so I really can't host anyone, yet. I live in an apartment with 4 other people but if you are ever in Switzerland or in Fribourg, I can show you around until January 2012. In 2012, I will be studying teaching in Elmira, New York. My Interests
Music: Play the tuba, baritone, fife, clarinet, trumpet, french horn Listen to rock, classic, musicals, pop. Dogs: have two rottweilers. One male and one female. Cats: 4 cats at my mom's house but really my cat is a black and white cat named Frosty which I got for my 18th birthday from my sister. Knitting! Avid knitter: make scarfs, hats, bags, blankets. Can teach. :) I collect postcards and would be willing to send postcards to anyone who is willing to share their world with me. Languages: studying French. took German for a year. Have basic knowledge of Italian and Spanish would like to learn more. As well as Latin.
