ABOUT ME

About me...I'm originally from the USA, Chicago to be more precise. But I left and moved to Australia when I finished school to shake things up a bit. I lived and studied in Brisbane for four years, then moved to Perth in 2010 to shake things up even more.

I really enjoy being around people and get energised from spending time with good friends or just interesting people that I've just met. Even though I'll be tied to one city for the next 2-3 years, I'm hoping that the couch surfing community will keep me in the adventure, travel, happy mode that we all know and love.

I've lived in Perth for around 2 years now and am convinced that it is one of Australia's best kept secrets! I was lucky enough to have some amazing people show me around the city when I first arrived, and I'd love to do the same for others!

Interests

I really enjoy being active, I play alot of volleyball and have recently taken up windsurfing and kitesurfing (though I'm still pretty bad at both). I enjoy the party scene, but also enjoy a quiet night with a bottle of wine and some relaxed conversation. O yeah...and I'm a huge nerd. I'm one of those people who actually really loves what they study (the kind of person that everyone hates). But I consider myself pretty lucky to love what I do so much.
