ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a BA in Spanish and English Linguistics and now I am off to find my path in the world. My passions include speaking Spanish, advocating for those in need (especially illegal immigrants), politics, gardening and being true to myself.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everything happens for a reason, and although I have not yet entirely discerned my purpose on this planet, I do know that my fulfillment comes from helping those in need, of which we are many.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people and encourage anyone and everyone to come for a visit. Wisconsin may not be the most interesting place in the world, but we have allot to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only recently discovered CouchSurfing while studying abroad in Mexico, and had the pleasant experience of teaming up with 14 other people for a grand celebration on the hardwood floor of a new friend in Veracruz during Carnival! Ever since I have looked forward to continuing to meet new people through the exciting community of CouchSurfing.

My goodness, that is a long list. I LOVE to read . My favorite genre is science fiction (I call it brain candy). I have no favorite books, only favorite authors.

I love music, although I am not adept at creating it. My favorite musicians are currently: Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Norah Jones, Michael Buble, The Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel.

Life's defining moments can be found while cuddling up with company to watch a good movie. My favorite films include Tank Girl, Tortilla Soup, Willow and the Princess Bride.

I have helped bring life into the world and there is no greater joy that I have yet to discover. The added bonus: new baby smell!
