Why I'm on Couchsurfing
For me, the best part of traveling is the engagement and exchange with locals and expats alike. My first introduction to travel was a study abroad program, then a homestay, then my friends' couches. When my family began hosting exchange students I was always excited to help them make the most out of their stay and my appreciation for this grew exponentially when I became an exchange student in college and it has continued to grow ever since :)
