Overview
About Me
I've been living for 2 years in the very center of the beautiful city of Marseille (which reminds me very much of Split, Croatia, where I grew up), and would be happy to host you and make you discover it.
I'm working for a non profit organization, doing beach cleanups, in order to understand the origins of the waste and reduce them at source. While I'm not trying to save the planet, I love sharing drinks with amazing people, walking through the city, hiking in the Calanques National Park :). Or cooking having tasty (and mostly vegetarian) food. Or playing board games !
I also love slow travelling, by train, bus, or hitchhiking to explore the world ! (Well, Europe for the moment - the rest of it is a bit far when you don't take the plane).
And of course, my place is open to everyone, no matter the gender, sexual orientation, race, religion (or no religion), as long as you're not part of the fascist minority 😌 Unfortunately there is no elevator up to the the 6th floor where I live (that's the only disadvantage, I promise)
____________________________
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I discovered Couchsurfing in 2023 while visiting Italy, and I immediately fell in love with the concept.
I find it amazing to meet new people with different cultures while visiting new cities, and discovering them with the tips of people living in them (and avoiding tourist traps!). Also, it allows people to travel with less money, which is nice!
Sharing about our lives and our respective cultures in different languages makes me want to abandon Airbnb and hotels :)
