ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Mei Ying. I just completed my master degree last year in South Korea and now continue my PhD at University of Auckland. This is my second time to New Zealand. I used to be here for working holiday four years ago. I think this is a lucky place for me, because this is the place where I met my bf four years ago and where I am going to get my PhD degree. I wish to enjoy life and meet people all around the world to experience all the different culture and embrace the difference between each civilizations.

To have the first hand experience with local people and sharing culture with people. Besides, I can have the experience on staying in the local style home.

兴趣

I have pretty much new hobbies these day. I start joining swimming club in my university, get some book for drawing and even get a DIY painting. I hope I can finish the painting very soon so I could give it to my bf as birthday present.

音乐、电影和书籍

I don't have any preference for music though, but I prefer soft and good melody music. I listen to classical music sometimes, but I couldn't different either it is from Mozart or Beethoven..hehe... Recently, I love to listen to Green Day...Haha

Recently, I watch Spy 2015. It is very funny and humorous. I like it so much..

These day I have to focus so much on the research and paper reading , I don't have much time to read. But I remember I read travel around world in 80 days. It was amazing and well-written. I finished that book in 2 days.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have done skydiving and bungy jumping in New Zealand. Both were done in one day. I think these are the craziest thing I have done in my 28 years of life.

After visiting a few countries, I feel that the more I see, the more I feel amazed about this world. It is so beautiful and wonderful. It is open up my mind about how I should see the world. A broader mind with a broader heart. This is my feeling about travelling. It is kind of difficult to stop when you start the journey of travelling around the world. I love so much.
