About Me

Free spirited and fun
Always young at heart
I like both deep conversations as well as those simple things in life which make life worth living

I am told that I behave like Sherlock Holmes; complete with deductive capabilities. Unfortunately, this is automatic for me and I cannot help it - but if you do not ask, I will not reveal what I "read".

Must knows if you want to stay:

*If you do wish to be "read", please allow for an impact as I am told I do not possess filters (whatever that means)

*prefer requests the week of arrival or last minute.

*Malta uses UK styled outlets so it’s good to bring an adapter for your phone.

*My place is modest and try to host as many surfers as possible :)

*as you’ll see in the home section, I have pets. They’re people friendly 🐈 🐕

*I am new to CS; but so far people have been happy staying here

*Be the nomad/traveler you would want to meet. Be kind and clean up after yourself- that’s all. :)

*I love post cards!! I want to decorate the sitting room with post cards from around the world, so if you stay with me, I just ask that you leave a note on a post card from home 🤗 Thank you!! ✌🏽

*If you are feeling exceedingly generous, a fridge magnet is also appreciated

Extra notes:

I prefer to host those who have hosted others. It’s a give and take community so please give. Travelers are often happy with even a small space on the floor so help out 👍🏽

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet more people and learn more about other cultures
Helping back, because I have been helped. I couch-surfed (or rather) beg-surfed back when it was far more difficult than today

I also wrote a book called "The Way of the Knowing"

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning

I am improving my Spanish as I do not get enough practice
I am learning French (very basic)
I would like to learn sign language
I am learning to play the Violin (solo)

Share

In general I can "read" people. I have been told I need to be more circumspect about it, so I will give a brief description. You all know Sherlock Holmes, and what he does. I have similar abilities. But also different. More like a mentalist as the Americans call it.

Apart from that, I can share from my collection of knowledge as I have practically studied every subject there is; from theoretical physics to gastronomy. But, I am also always learning, and I appreciate every single nugget of information I can get.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Coffee is always flowing
If I cook, I will share - I love cooking
I can teach self-defense, my own style, which is non lethal

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Italy, United Kingdom
