About Me

I am among those people who feel stuck when they are asked to describe themselves. ;-)
I am open-minded, cheerful and talkative person (gosh, I talk A LOT.. an extravert, you know ;-) ).
I work as a translator, running a small translation business in my native city.
In general, I love meeting new people, know their stories, embracing the intercultural communication and making new friends.

Since 2009 I have been hosting travellers in my native city Chelyabinsk, in July 2018 I tried to be a guest for the first time. So what can I say about the experience. It was suprising but many guys confuse CS with tinder. I do not add people to my friends list if I haven't met them.
No, I am not interested in any kind of flirting, I am into communication, discovering and exploring new places and making friends.

CS is a great way to meet extraordinary people in different cities and countries. I will always remember every day I spent being a guest. It was a blast!

If you travel with someone, I am not going to ask for their picture to check if I admire this person or not. (I was asked to do so for several times and I find it awkward). If you are travelling with someone, it's your personal responsibility to make sure your companion behaves appropriately.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

That is the best and perhaps easiest way to get inspiration and groove from new people you meet. CS teaches you to TRUST people. It broadens limits and boundaries.
I host travellers most of the time but fingers crossed one day I can be a guest too.

July 2018 update: I travelled 5 countries in Europe and was hosted in 3 of them. It's fun!

Interests

These days I pretty much interested in inner growth and various practices that make our life easier. But I am only a starter here. Permanent learner, if it is not a course, it is a person who can teach me or show me something valuable.
Communication, fitness, reading. Animal lover.
