CURRENT MISSION: South Pacific~ Tahiti, Bora Bora! June 3, 2016 we depart! ABOUT ME I'm originally from Kodiak Island, and my husband is originally from Eastern Europe. We currently live/work & play in Anchorage, Alaska and I have lived in Colorado, Illinois, Hawaii, Washington DC & taught English in Spain. I love travel and all that it entails! Food, new adventures, connecting with people, beaches, meausums, dancing, learning about different cultures! I also enjoy down time making beautiful things, trying to cook new cultural recipes & having house parties & dancing all night with friends to meeting up with friends for weekend adventures out and about! Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I would love to get to know people from many many counties/places/backgrounds through out the world and learn their stories/culture such as dance, food, history, art, stories, ~ you name it~ & I can share as well over coffee, dinner, a glass of wine or craft beer! Also we can make plans to see local places in the Anchorage area! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Meeting up w/ surfers around the globe. I've not stayed with anyone but have met some wonderful people through this site.
