Music, Movies, and Books

Music: always been a part of my life, so i generally appreciate most types and genres. Keen to know music from new places I go. I like musicals and old songs more than the recent ones though. I love to sing a lot (was part of a pop a-cappella group back in uni) and always try to play any good music by ear in piano/guitar.

Movies: i love watching films from different countries as they give me a glimpse into their culture (current faves: Korean and Bollywood). Action, thriller, comedy movies are awesome, but I also enjoy series that stir the mind / keep you at the edge of your seat. Top picks: Sherlock (the British series), GoT, Line of Duty, Happy Valley, Safe, Designated Survivor. K fine, Brooklyn Nine Nine is on the list too :p

Books/Authors: Jodi Picoult, Kevin Kwan, Jennifer Egan, Milan Kundera, Robin Sloan, Neil Gaiman, Shel Silverstein, Ransom Riggs

See, even the crazy little things I still consider amazing. The trick, i think, is experiencing it with incredible company :) Really grateful to God for meeting fellow travelers who share the same thrill and love for traveling - most ending up as my lifelong friends across the globe!
