Overview
About Me
My name is Thaddäus, I come from the wonderful city Kassel in the middle of Germany, where I grew up with my brother, my sister and my parents. I went to waldorfschool and graduated high school (Abitur) there. I´m a calm guy, tolerant and patient. I´m happy with my life and the oppertunity to go my own way. I have spend 4 months in New Zealand on a working holiday visa and it was a great experience and really opened my mind to the world.
I want to learn more about different people who live in this world, the cultures, the nature, the history and make a big mass of new experience.
Nothing excites me more than grabbing my backpack an heading for new adventures..
Right now I start my studies in Mannheim and Im exited to host some nice travellers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet other people, hear their stories and share mine. I want to learn more about their culture and get to know the differences, Im very open minded for mostly everything.
I love to share things of my own.
In addition, I believe that couchsurfing lets you know that life is not about material value, it is about the experiences and relationships with other people. I like to make friends and see you back in germany :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like music at all!
composers: Wise Guys, Bodo Wartke, Dela Dap, Hans Zimmer, Lindsey Stirling..
but I like to get to know new music styles, because I like to listen to almost all music.
movies: inception, The Lord of the Rings, Intouchables
I love good movies and for me the genres aren´t so important. They just have to be good.
The same goes for musik.
books: years ago I loved Winnetou, now I read philosofic books or travel guides :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visited Brazil 3 years agoand saw the differences in living standards - saw what is realy important. I stayed in a favela (slum), just mind blowing/crazy world.
Visited Russia 4 years ago and saw the cultural differences opened my mind for other cultures. The family I stayed with was so hospital, I would like to be as good as them with hosting other people.
Skydiving, work and travel in New Zealand and road trip!
I traveled through Vietnam with Mô-viết, my motorbike. I love the vietnamese food and this travelstyle, because I'm so flexible! And I met a lot of nice locals and had unforgettable moments with themm
Hiking in Nepal the Annapurna circuit: 200km up to 5416m in 12days on my own. Was not easy, but so worth the experience afterwards and taught me a lot.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm pretty much interested in everything and love to learn from other peoples experiences and their lifes. I like to share my experiences and things I have.
And I love to share my happiness, because it is the only thing which doubles if you share it!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to cook for you a german meal if there is time. Just say if you are vegetarian or vegan.
Or I can show you dances or you can learn sozial or international dances (israeli, french, rumanian, greec or canadien dances) from me if you like. Dancing is definitely my passion and teaching as well!
