As most on here, I love traveling! But I'm not about the tourist crap. I'm here living and working alongside Moroccans, truly hoping to immerse myself in their culture. No matter where I live in the world, give me a book and a cup of tea, and I'll be happy.
Interested in Books & Literature
Interested in Dining out
Fluent in English
Learning Arabic (Morocco)
Why I'm on Couchsurfing
If folks are interested in seeing the real Morocco, I want to show them!
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: melancholy folk stuff like Fleet Foxes, The Milk Carton Kids, or Elliot Smith. Movies: artistic weird stuff like The Darjeeling Limited, Amelie, or Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? Books: heavy dark stuff like The Brothers Karamazov, That Hideous Strength, or The Master and Margherita.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Um, move to Morocco.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Physically, I can share food! If you've ever known a PCV, you know we're poor. So it's not, like, ritzy food. But it's food. Personally, I can share the real side of Morocco! This is a small village, so there isn't much to entertain, but being a part of the culture is beautiful. We can go to families' houses for Kaskrut or to make couscous, we can go for a hike or to the river, we can go to the weekly market to haggle for used cups, you'll love it.
My Interests
LIFE! I'm convinced it's for living.
