Overview
About Me
I read more non-fiction than anything else. I hate and love sports. It is addiction I can't kick.
To me, creation is freeing. It is the complete expression of our humanity. Show me your art: writing, painting, dancing, acting, comedy, cooking, niceness...all of these make me feel the world is a great place that I want to know more and more about.
I truly believe that my purpose in my day to day is to help those that everyone else has forgotten or left behind. Although, it may not be where I planned to go, I ended up in Brooklyn. Fell into work in schools. With that, I have been an educator for the last 6 years in Brooklyn.
I call Chicago home. My family is out there. My newly sprout nephew lives in the Bay Area, so, I am very excited to make my way there to cause some mischief with him as he goes through the mischief years.
I said I am learning French. That could be misleading. I can name about 4 colors and how to say egg in French. Well, I can spell it at least. L'oeuf is really giving my speech some difficulties.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfed in South Africa for the World Cup and loved it. It has been a great experience hosting in Brooklyn. Always met really wonderful people. Each bringing the world to me when I couldn't travel to see it.
