ABOUT ME

I run a lot. i eat a lot of rice. i ride my bike everywhere, even over to walgreens, which is across the street. I dumpster dive a lot, for political statement reasons and for free stuff. I try to be as healthy and compassionate as I can be.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life in hopes that some dramatic change will happen and I'll have a use on this planet. Other than that, I love knowledge and the critical thought, and I really really love love.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've crashed on some couches of people in the city and overall had a positive experience. some internet incompatibility kept me from couchsurfing and replying to requests last year, but i'm very much able to log on and respond and host folks now.

Interests

I like: flirting with girls, open micing, dancing, punk shows, sleater-kinney, people who loan me books, writing lengthy descriptions of myself on the internet, traveling, snow, tea, books, queers, post-apocalyptic survival scenarios, zombie movies and speculation, having haircuts, gender confusion, critical mass, my bike, other people's bikes, figuring things out on my own, cooking, firefighting, emergency medical technicians, skool and cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I hate this section, because really, how much time do you think i have?
i like feministy music, le tigre, b&a, lezzies on x, sleater-kinney, the butchies, tori amos etc.
I like punk-ish music, the distillers, kill hannah, condenada, dominatrix, AFI.
I like books, period. Well, i don't really like danielle steele or vc andrews, but i'd give them a chance if i were in prison, or they were the last books on earth.

I hiked 26 miles in 18 hours. In the Cascades, in washington.

Teach, Learn, Share

Books. Conversation. Food and if you're old enough and maybe if you aren't, really good beer. I'd like to learn about experience and critical thought. I'd like to learn about irony and a suddenly revealed contrast between what is and what seems to be.
