About Me

I was born in a small town called Bhadrapur which is in the eastern part of Nepal. Right now, I'm at Vassar College in the United States pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My biggest passion is definitely traveling. I have travelled to most parts of Nepal and I want to travel in the United States now. I do not come from a financially sound family and neither do I earn enough to fund my travel with ease (I am at Vassar College thanks to their generous financial support). My first reasons to be on Couchsurfing is to look for accommodations in place that I want to travel in the States.

Also, I love to meet people from different culture, background, and stores and love to hear them out. I love to talk about everything. Also, I can talk about Nepal a lot, which can prove to be insightful for the hosts. I can cook Nepali food and play Nepali music, which can always be a good thing to experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Coldplay. Favorite genre's are alternative rock, rock, indie, and sometimes pop and country too.

I like all kinds of books and movies, although I LOVE books/movies with a meaningful storyline. I LOVE real-life based writings, history movies, or anything that relates to novelty, adventure, and happiness. Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather trilogy, Inglorious Bastards, and Life is Beautiful are some of my favorite movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a solo trek to Annapurna Base Camp last winter. It lasted for 7 nights in total, and I walked about 5 hours everyday and ascended to a maximum height of about 5000m.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Nepali culture. Nepali folk stories. Nepali traditions. Nepali food. Nepali lifestyle. Nepali dresses. Nepali music. Nepali poems. History of Nepal. Philosophy in Nepal. My adventures in Nepal. Stories of my life in Nepal. and a lot of other things.
