Hi, I'm Theresa and currently working and living in Zittau, "last corner of Germany" - but close to many nice places in Czech republic and Poland. I just moved here some months ago for my internship before becoming a teacher at a public school ("Referendariat") so I consider myself still as new here and ready to discover new places...

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Well, nothing surprising, for the same reason as all of you! It's travelling in an affordable way and staying with locals at the same time. I stayed sometimes with couchsurfers before the era of covid - well and now I am living in a flat on my own so it's easier to host people :)

兴趣

I like outdoor sports like rock climbing, inlineskating, snowboarding, swimming in lakes and I go everywhere I can by bicycle...
I drink coffee, but I don't smoke, I drink wine, but no cognac (as I figured out during a summer school in Moldova) - and I like good food and celebrating a meal with family or friends. I am a big fan of german breakfast (not just an espresso and a croissant, but an exteeeended one).
Of course, I also like travelling and I realized that Europe is a pretty fascinating continent and you can go everywhere by bus, train, autostop... and it's amazing how many things and cities and people and landscapes fit in this small continent and in my opinion we should take this opportunity and avoid planes as far as possible.

音乐、电影和书籍

I have to admit that I am not really a music freak, I am rather the boring person who is ok with (nearly) everyone's music taste or letting Spotify propose. I am just not able to do two things at the same time - listening to music and tidying up is already too much :D But - just show me what you are listening to and probably I'll like it.
Concerning books, it's hard to choose - let's talk about that when we meet. :)

Last summer, I went (all alone) from the north of Italy to Albania by bike - and although I would plan some more time the next time I will do a trip like this, I would definitely do it again...

German sense of humour... I figured out that not everybody finds it funny. We will see...
Or mustard from my home region, it's famous.
