ABOUT ME

My friend says: CRAZY! Fun, always smiling, laughing, warm, and friendly. She is smart, and courageous, and she is always wanting to learn more and do more. Enough is never enough. She loves adventure and spontaneity, and lives to have new enriching experiences. Bianca is neat, and cleanliness is very important to her. She has big dreams and a bigger heart, and she opens it to people she meets and gets along with. She is a good friend, and one that you will keep and remember for life.

PHILOSOPHY

You are in control. There are no limitations, only set backs, which you must over come to get what you want, and to become a stronger, and wiser person. Everyone has dreams, but only some set out to fulfill them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After high school I traveled and worked abroad for 2 years. I loved in Switzerland and Turkey, and backpacked for 6 months in Turkey, Greece, Eastern Europe, Western Europe and North Africa, couch surfing as we went along, we were able to meet such lovely, interesting citizens of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had good experiences and met a lot of really interesting people. I love it when a person is welcoming and genuinely interested in knowing you and teaching you about their own country. It's really warming!

Interests

I enjoy reading, but don't have much time for it, absolutely love learning new things, and I never shy away from trying something new or daring. I am obsessed with the world and traveling... Obviously. I love children, and for 2 years I used teaching to be abroad and travel. I love drawing, making new friends, and exploring new places with them. I love trying to learn new languages (emphasis on the try).

Healthy eating and staying active is very important to me. I love hiking in the beautiful mountains in Cape Town where I live, as well as cycling, running and playing sports.

I am a serial entrepreneur! Passionate about sustainable change and development. My goal in following my passions is to create as much positive impacts to help people in the form of jobs and any other way I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh. Now I have to think of 3 of these moments...
Paragliding 700m up in the air, above Olüdeniz in Turkey, and taking a 7 day Gulet boat trip with 16 strangers who became my friends.
A sponatneous mid night run into the ocean fully clothed in Vernazza Italy with my dear friends from Siwtzerland.
Road tripping through Switzerland and finding ourselves at a Jack Johnson concert in a historic square in Switzerland!

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to live in Italy to learn Italian. How about a switch, I come to Italy and learn Italian, you come to South Africa and I teach you English? I want to learn as many trades as I can. I want to share with people how to start sustainable businesses. I want to meet people who have the same zest for life that I do. I want to learn about life from a thousand perspectives.
