Hi my name is Tom and I live in Canberra studying at the Australian National University but I grew up in Sydney. When I was 15 I moved to Japan for 6 months and in my Gap year I worked in China for another 6 months. I consider myself a global citizen and want to teach and learn from others global experinces.

I love all music, I will listen to everything and anything. My favorite bands are Tame Impala, The Wombats, The XX, Courtney Barnett, Tash Sultana and Jungle. Love my house musics (especially french) and Chillwave.
My favorite movie is The Beach and I love Blade Runner.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was 15 I decided to go to Japan on cultural homestay exchange, I was placed in the small town of Sakuhomachi in rural Nagano Prefecture. While there I immersed myself in the culture, I farmed rice in the Summer and taught ski school to children in the winter while learning Japanese. This was a formative part in my life guiding me to my current studies at university.
