About Me
I've just finished my first year at university studying history and am absolutely loving it! That doesn’t stop me from wanting to travel in the summer though - I’ve definitely caught the bug! This year, I’m going to cycle the Kystriksveien with a friend from University. I’ve always wanted to do a long-distance cycle tour (well, long by my standards). I love anything outdoorsy - hiking, cycling (obviously), running, swimming... - and occasionally a bit of history on the side!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I can’t claim to be the most prolific traveller, but all my best memories are never of places but of people. I’m on Couchsurfing to meet some more!

Music, Movies, and Books
Haha! I’ll listen to pretty much everything that comes to be honest.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a year out before going to university. I talk about it constantly but I had a really amazing time. My favourite moment was spontaneously climbing Mount Tunupa (over the Salar de Uyuni) with a lovely Frenchman I’d met a couple of days before called Benoît. We had no food, nowhere to stay and no way of getting back to civilisation (the nearest town was three hours by car away) but we were unbelievably lucky, and met some of the most lovely people who kept us alive at 4000m on the Bolivian altiplano. I saw many beautiful places over that year, but the mixture of beauty, human kindness and remoteness made it the most impressionable experience of my life so far.
