About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to meet new people and be a good friend to them. (and meeting someone special along the way would be nice as well) :-)

ABOUT ME

Single guy living alone in a huge house. Just looking to meet new and interesting people. I'm one of those people that hates eating and doing things alone. I travel around the country quite a bit, but work from home when I am not travelling.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to live by the rule, 'do unto others...'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am opening up my home for others to come in and share it with me. I'll even cook for you if you ask nicely :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None thus far. Found out about it from a participant in New York that I met. That it sounded like a great way to meet people, and be a friend.

Interests

Computers (well ok, that's obvious)
Hobbies include SCUBA Diving (Openwater, Technical, and Cave), Skydiving (not licensed yet, but on the way), Flying (I am a pilot and have my own small plane), and woodworking (I make a great pile of sawdust).
Other things include eating out, going to the movies, talking about politics or world affairs.

Music, Movies, and Books

Most any computer manuals (work related hazard, sorry). I enjoy most movie genre (well ok, so I'm not at all that in to porn). Usually prefer to read than watch TV, though I do Tivo a few shows. My music taste is fairly open to anything except Rap, and Country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The birth of a child is always amazing! Having been a paramedic for 5 years I personally delivered several children, and each time I was awe struck and amazed.

Teach, Learn, Share

Great Idea!

Teach: Networking, Unix, IT Security, IT Disaster Recovery, Oracle, EMC, Storage, and anything Datacenter related.

Learn: Cave diving, Trimix diving, Welding
