One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2013, I have travelled overland from the Netherlands to Gambia to deliver both goods and funds for the construction of a school for deaf children. It was amazing to see the differences and gradual change in culture, ethnicity, food, religious customs and nature. A lasting experience on your outlook on the world!
Teach, Learn, Share
The best way to explore a country's tradition, language, nature and food is to connect with locals, which is why I find it great to mingle with them. Each country offers something unique; and usually it doesn't involve a lot of travelling. I enjoy dividing my time between visiting little villages, cities and spending time in secluded nature. Best way of transportation: night train!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Extensive beer knowledge, a good chat about politics or travelling, creativity in cooking and a good cup of coffee.
