About Me
CURRENT MISSION
About to travel the world in late 2015!
ABOUT ME
Grew up in Portland, Oregon, a wonderful city. But it was too small for me, so I moved to NYC in 2012 for the sole purpose of living here. I've explored many parts of the city that natives don't venture out to, seeking the best food and authentic experiences in the city's diverse communities.
I'm sometimes described as zen. I like order but find the craziness of humanity to be exciting at the same time.
PHILOSOPHY
Being well-traveled helps, but you really have to allow your mind to expand and get over yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have never couchsurfed, but I've hosted friends who couchsurf.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've really enjoyed hosting friends visiting the city. It's great to be able to show people around my haunts. My best experience was going on a run with a couchsurfing friend where we saw the High Line, Korea Town, Grand Central, Chinatown, and rode the Staten Island Ferry, all in one evening after work.
