Overview
About Me
After growing up in a small Texas town, I began down a path that has lead me to some extraordinary places and adventures. I volunteered for the military and spent over a year in a small village in Afghanistan coordinating a local radio station with some really wonderful Afghans. After completing my period of service, I embarked on a period of international living and travel. I lived almost two years in Rome, Italy before moving to Australia where I lived for a year and a half. From these locations I have travelled around Europe and Southeast Asia. Along the way I have meet many fascinating and extraordinary people that I am honored to call friends.
Now I have moved back to the United States and am looking to explore my own country - a task I guess I always took for granted but that I hope is highly rewarding. Along the way I hope to meet people that are willing to open there homes to me and show me their unique regions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
