Overview
About Me
I live in the awesome inner east of Sydney. I love cooking, backgammon, gardening, writing, reading and photography. You can see my blog about cooking, gardening, and living www.goodisbetter.net.
I love to travel, meet people and discover new places. I am a consultant (higher education) and fledgling historian (urban environmental history). My research focus is two-fold: (1) research influence in higher education learning and teaching and (2) the Los Angeles River (think the Grease car chase scene).
As well as lots of Australian travel, I've traveled on the east and west coast of the US, Europe, New Zealand and South East Asia.
I'm passionate about photography, travel, good food, great company, architecture, gardening, food justice, sustainability, education and the environment. I'm intermittently interested in politics, trashy magazines, and reading lonely planet just for fun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Eclectic, usually surrendering to Spotify radio to select for me! Love cookbooks, memoir, craft of writing. Docos, art house, not horror.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteered at an elephant sanctuary in northern Thailand.
