Heyyy everyone, I'm Tim Cherpillod as you probably read it and I'm from Switzerland, Lausanne. I've been traveling since young and I recently did a fantastic trip by backpack around Middle-East and Africa. Couchsurfing definitely opened my mind, I met wonderful people on this app, people who hosted me, trusted me and it means a lot to me. Traveling is for me the best education we can receive, it opens your mind to the world, it gives you the opportunity to realize how lucky we are to be able to travel. Since I've been traveling by backpack, I'm way more thankful about my life than I used to be, I'm a different person. And of course I think couchsurfing is just a wonderful way to get to know the culture of each other, to see the reality and definitely to meet amazing people. One Amazing Thing I've Done
I did Cairo - Cape Town, in 9 months by hitchhiking and public transportation, no plane at all during the all itinerary, only by land.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I used to say on my profile that it would have been difficult to host anyone but since I've stayed with so many people, I'm sure I'll convince my parents about hosting people in our house, so WELCOME at anytime if I'm in Switzerland.
My Interests
For me, there is nothing more beautiful than discovering the culture from other people who lives in a completely different world than me. So I'm a big fan of traveling, I enjoy every single conversation with someone from another country, I love listening stories and I love telling mine too 😝 sharing our experiences is the best 😁 I love sports too, all kind of sports. I'm a big fan of trying new food especially when it's weird food, the stranger it is, the more I love. I love playing around with kids too and one of my biggest interest/hobby/passion is REAL MADRID ❤️
