About Me

Hi!

So I've quit my two jobs in the only city I've ever lived, and am ready and packed for a massive adventure through the States and beyond!
I just worked 10 weeks at a summer camp as a Counsellor just out of Baltimore, and am now moving around trying to see as much of America as I can!

I'm a friendly and outgoing guy - up for anything that is thrown at me :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When imagining my travels in America - I never wanted a typical "1 week in Las Vegas, 1 week in New York, 1 week in Miami" type of trip.

I want to really LIVE in America, feel what it's like for a local, experience the culture as both a tourist and a neighbour.

Everyone always says the best thing about travelling is the people you meet - and what better way to meet people than being introduced to a massive community of likeminded people who are willing to share their lives and city with you :)

Interests

Filmmaking, Music and Photography are the passions that drive me through life.

Am a very active person. Play "Footy" (Australian Rules Football), basketball and have danced all my life (Tap and Jazz).

Having a beer (or red wine if it calls for it) with friends new and old, reminiscing on old times and making new memories.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Looooook, I could go on and on - but the fact is that I do listen to just about every genre of music. I could be listening to some ambient/instrumental music one second, and the next be jumping around to my favourite hardcore band - all depends on the mood!

Movies: Nothing beats a good comedy (Ace Ventura II is the best movie of all time), but I do love Documentaries (especially music based ones), Memento and Drive are great films.
If we are talking about TV: Mr Robot, Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Friday Night Lights, Friends, The Office

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked at a Summer Camp for 10 weeks!
One of the most exhausting and hardest things I've ever done, but at the some time definitely the best fun I've ever had :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, United States
