Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm a 22 year old guy with a big passion for music and traveling. I've been drumming and playing guitar since 2010 and a few years ago I landed my dream job of working in a record store.
I love to meet new people, discover new places and just have a great time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet interesting new people when traveling! I love getting to know the locals and places you would normally not think to visit. It's amazing to discover new cultures.
Interests
Ever since I went to my first concert of Europe (yes, The Final Countdown!) I've been passionate about music and knew I wanted to something with that. When my local record store had a job opening I immediatly applied and have been working there the past 3 years to pay for an education in Audio Engineering which I'll be starting in September. I can't wait!
I also started writing for a music magazine called Mania on a voluntary basis.
If you're interested, you can find the concerts I've been to on my setlist.fm and the records I own on my Discogs page. See:

Music, Movies, and Books
Frank Turner, Dave Hause, Menzingers, Gregory Porter, Alcest and God Is An Astronaut are probably my favorite artists.
As for movies, I'm a big fan of Breaking Bad and Archer. Still have to catch up on Better Call Saul though!
Recently I picked up reading again, hoping to finish a book each month if I can find the time. Currently reading Catch-22.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've lived in Norway for a year. When I was 17 and out of high school I had no idea what I wanted to do moving forward. So I took a leap year, studying a band & studio course at a folk high school in Norway. I've gone on a lot of walks in the beautiful Norwegian mountains and fjords, made my own knife and learned that Norwegian winters are pretty cold! But most importantly I learned that I wanted to pursue a carreer in audio engineering, having been able to get hands on experience with recording my own and others music.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A great conversation about music, life and traveling. Also Stroopwafels. If there's one thing I learned from traveling it's that everybody absolutely loves this dutch cookie.
Obviously you're welcome to return to my home and I can show you around the Netherlands too!
