Hi, my name is Tim (not Timm), I am a founder of a business consulting agency in Berlin, helping sustainable startups from all over the world to grow in our region. Also, I am a founder of a non-profit media and education startup excours.io (I studied art history and cultural anthropology, too). My main hobby is art photography, and I can send you my website on request.

I am very happy to meet and host people with similar interests, such as (but not only) startup founders and workers in sustainable businesses, open knowledge activists, leftist political thought and scholars, social entrepreneurs, ecological activists, journalists, social workers, video makers, artists, vegans and vegetarians.

I have also curated international exhibitions on memory culture and graphic journalism, and currently prepare my 3rd big exhibition on the life and arts of one forgotten thinker from Eastern Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like sharing knowledge and emotions about subjects I'm interested in and I admire. I enjoy getting to know new people of different backgrounds, who engage in politics, social life, culture and arts, who think critically and want to learn others. But I also want to express my solidarity to those who want to change our world at any scale, and travel for this sake. Always feel happy to share with unknown people my values, views and joy.

I can offer you a photo session (I mainly work with directed portrait and experimental photography), we can play the guitar and sing songs, and we can cook together (I am an expert in pancakes, pasta, and rice/lentil dishes).

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can watch a film together in my home cinema, visit an exhibit, to to the opera or jazz concert, walk, do some shopping, play the guitar and sing, go dancing (i’m not good in that though), cook etc.
