I'm a very friendly, optimistic and open-minded person. I'm curious and always want to discover new things - new music, new food, new people. I'm quite active and attend at least one cultural event per week, be it a concert or an exhibition. Even though I'm a more silent character I enjoy good conversations and spending time with my friends. I'm creative in the areas of music and art - altogether a multifaceted person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted more than 50 times so far and it was a very positive experience to meet so many diverse and awesome people.
I'm also open to meet local people in Stuttgart for common activities like going to concerts or hiking.

Interests

Music is my passion - I'm collecting vinyl records and love to listen to various styles with special preferences for Soul/Funk/Jazz and Progressive/Psychedelic Rock. I'm also a musician myself playing the piano and sitar, a little bit of blues harp and melodica and currently learning the kalimba.

I'm interested in modern art and have a small but growing collection of linocuts, woodcuts and lithographies.

Since my master studies were focussed on the financial markets I'm happy to exchange some stock recommendations and discuss about how to invest money.

As of recently I'm also into Hellenistic philosophy and found that living according to the principles of Epicurus leads to a happy life.

Eating healthy is important for me, so I'm usually eating lots of fruits and vegetables, even though I'm not a vegetarian/vegan. But my place is very vegan-friendly and I always have some vegan stuff around.

I really enjoy nature and like to go hiking. There are some really beautiful spots around Stuttgart that I can recommend you or we can hike somewhere together.
